17 days to Qualifier
THANK YOU. Two amazing words that I must send out into the universe today after such a fantastic show of love and support for our team. We are so humbled to be living this journey and without all of you (beautiful people) we would not have made it as far as we have.
It’s difficult to really see everything that is happening behind the scenes every day, especially when you’re in your own little world at the pool 24/7. Our team has been working incredibly hard to make our dreams come true and sometimes we don’t think about how big our dreams really are! I mean, the Olympics; yeah we’ve been talking about it since we could speak, but what goes in to something this intense is much more than any of us could have imagined. Not the physical part, that we all expected, but how much of this dream depends on YOU, the fans, is so inspiring.
The amount of support we recieved yesterday was extremely motivational, to say the least. We are not only doing this for us, we are doing this for the next generation, for a love of the sport, for ALL of the people who have helped us get to this point in our lives. It takes a village and we are so incredibly grateful to be at the recieving end of it.
In the next few weeks, we will be taking the next step towards our Olympic Dream. We’ve got a tough road ahead of us, but our determination and passion for this sport will get us through anything that is thrown our way. Please keep us in your hearts and minds as we make final preparations for the Qualifier!
